Effective September 23, 2026
Right Action Charlotte County (“RACC”) publishes these standards for the RACC Members mobile app. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes how the app is built, how concerns are reported, and how we respond.
The app is for adult members only
- RACC Members is a private app for the dues-paying membership of Right Action Charlotte County. Membership is for adults; applications are reviewed and approved one by one by the Secretary before an account can be used.
- There is no public sign-up, no public profile, and no public content of any kind.
- Members cannot contact one another through the app. The only messaging is a private line between a member and an elected officer (President, Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary). There are no group chats, no forums, no comments and no follower relationships.
- All published content — announcements, meeting minutes, agendas, reports and event notices — is written and posted by RACC officers, not by members.
- The app is rated for adults and is not designed for, marketed to, or appealing to children.
Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited anywhere in the app, including in private messages and photo attachments:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real or generated.
- Sexualization of a minor, including text, images, drawings or AI-generated depictions.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to contact or exploit a minor.
- Promoting, linking to, or seeking any of the above.
How to report a child safety concern
- In the app: open Messages, choose Secretary or President, and describe the concern. You may attach a screenshot. These messages go straight to the officers and are read by them, not by an automated system.
- By email: secretary@racc1776.com, subject “Child safety”.
- By phone: (941) 888-0135.
You do not need to be a member to report a concern to us by email or phone.
How we respond
- An officer reviews every report. Reports involving a child’s safety are treated as urgent and are acted on the same day whenever possible.
- Any account involved in prohibited conduct is suspended immediately, and the offending content is removed from the app and from our servers.
- Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office or other appropriate law enforcement. We preserve the relevant records for the authorities and cooperate with lawful requests.
- Membership in RACC is terminated for anyone who violates these standards.
Compliance
RACC Members complies with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy, Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, and applicable United States federal and Florida state law on child protection and mandatory reporting. These standards are reviewed at least once a year and whenever the app’s features change.
